Hey There!

I'm Kevin, and you probably just pictured Catherine O'Hara screaming that.

I’m a Chicago-based multidisciplinary designer and design leader specializing in product design with a focus on scalable design systems.

For nearly 12 years at Ulta Beauty, I led the inception of UI/UX work and ultimately managed the Palette Design System, shaping the digital experience and aligning teams around reusable patterns and governance.

Before that, I cut my teeth as a Digital Art Director for a number of radio stations and as a Web Designer at Optimum Nutrition. My print background taught me the power of precision, and I’ve been lucky to have had hybrid design/development roles over the years to better inform my design work from a technical perspective.

Whether you’re evolving an established system or building one from the ground up, I’d love to hear what you’re working on. Design solves problems, no matter the medium. That’s what I do, and with any luck, what I’ll always do.
