The redesign introduced new patterns, visual language, and high-density layouts. Without a robust system, teams risked fragmentation. My role was to align Palette with the redesign’s needs, preventing bottlenecks and ensuring cohesion across pods.

I expanded and refined Palette to support the redesign:

• Updated cards, tabs, navigation, and onboarding patterns for mobile
• Added new component variants for high-density layouts
• Refactored tokens for spacing, typography, and color to match the new direction
• Standardized interactions for alerts, flows, and complex states

This work ensured the system was ready before design began.

I partnered with app designers to:

• Guide pattern usage and constraints for new screens
• Determine when custom solutions should become system components
• Reduce redundant work through shared patterns and pair sessions
